and our adoption fees. We are not supported by government funding. We are
solely supported by great folks like you.

We will be unable to accept any
additional guinea pigs at this time. Guinea pigs adopted from Cavy Care
Inc. must be returned to Cavy Care Inc.
You can call and check for availability and if
we have room we will place your guinea pig...
but if you can not wait for placement please
check out the accommodations of Denver Dumb Friends League, Max
Fund, Dream Power, Adams County Humane, Boulder Humane, Longmont Humane or Pikes
Peak Humane.

We
are NOT financed by federal, local or government.
We are only supported
through donations and adoption fees. We are solely staffed by volunteers.
Our vet's give us as much consideration as
they can afford. But they have families too.
To
adopt you must be 18 or older or have a legal parent or guardian who will be
assisting in their care. We are looking for children over seven years of age to
adopt and are at least ten to adopt a baby guinea pig under eight weeks.
Appointments are set after the competition of pre-adoption forms either emailed
or completed over the phone once that is done then an appointment is set.
For one hour you have the uninterrupted time of an adoption counselor to
answer question and help you find the perfect guinea pig as your life time
family member.
We do not provide guinea
pigs to day care programs, petting zoo's or school programs as in classroom
pets .
We do not provide tours or offer experience time for those looking to see if
they are allergic

Esposito, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Esposito has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1996 after
graduating from Colorado State University’s veterinary school of medicine.
She completed an externship at the Kaytee Avian Research Center, has been
published in Popular Pet magazine, and currently serves on the Board of
Directors for Cavy Care Rescue.
Experienced and passionate, Dr. Esposito brings our animal hospital’s
mission of “Innovative Medicine, Compassionate Care” to life every day.
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Esposito nurtures a BIG family including dogs Reily
and Tashi, kitties Trapper, Turtle and Kitty, bearded dragon Rex, blue and
gold macaw Gilligan and umbrella cockatoo Ziggy...plus three horses and ten
chickens!
