Boarding

Cavy Care Inc offers Pet Animal Care Facilities Program (PACFP) licensed care in a home setting and has been caring for guinea pigs for over ten years.

Our prices are by cage, which can house two guinea pigs, not by individual guinea pig. We make sure your guinea pig gets plenty of time to play.

We also offer boarding for small dogs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, rats, mice, and gerbils.

We are not taking any boarders with medication or medical needs at this time.

Your business supports the shelter and we appreciate it.

Boarders can be scheduled by appointment throughout the week, please call 720-235-2492 to schedule.

Hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm but call, we would hate to miss you if you did not schedule a pick up or drop off time.
Before or after hours pickups are an additional $25.

Pricing for Guinea Pigs:

Cuddle Carrots Package- $5 per day per cage.
Includes cage, bedding, fresh fruits and vegetables, timothy hay and water. All you need to supply are the pellets.
Free nail trim included.
Lettuce Love Package- $6 per day per cage.
Includes everything in the Carrots Package PLUS the pellets. We supply everything.
Free nail trim included.

Pricing for Rabbits:

$6 per day per cage - you provide the food
$7 per day per cage - we provide the food
Potty training is available for $40. There is limited space available for rabbits.

Pricing for Ferrets:

$10 per day per cage - you provide the food
$11 per day per cage - we provide the food
Potty training is available for $40. There is limited space available for ferrets.

Pricing for Chinchillas:

$5 per day per cage - you provide the food
$6 per day per cage - we provide the food
There is limited space available for chinchillas.

Pricing for Rats:

If boarding rats, please bring their cage with you.
$3 per day per cage - you provide the food
$4 per day per cage - we provide the food

Pricing for Hamsters, Gerbils, and Mice:

$2 per day per cage - you provide the food
$3 per day per cage - we provide the food

New clients are asked to provide a 1/2 of total stay deposit.

• For stays over 30 days = 10% Discount of total for full 30 day stay. No other discounts are applicable.
• For stays over 60 days = 20% Discount of total for full 60 day stay. No other discounts are applicable.
• For stays over 90 days = 30% Discount of total for full 90 day stay. No other discounts are applicable.

Bedding choices for both packages are aspen, Care fresh ($2 extra per day), or dust-free Aspen ($1 extra per day).

MAKE A RESERVATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS SPACE IS LIMITED.
We take in only a select few to ensure the highest quality of care.
Repeat clients are given preference.
Cavy Care Inc. reserves the right to refuse services for any reason.
