Tours and Interaction
Tours and one on one interaction and education is conducted on Mondays and Tuesdays only, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. To request Shannon, Director and resident Guinea pig expert make that request at time of call. Cost:
Adults are $40 per person up to four people.
Children are $20 each.
Children under 14 must be supervised by a parent or adult at least 21 or older. Must be booked two weeks in advance. A deposit of 1/2 of total amount required at the time of booking.
This is for one hour of supervised interaction with the shelter guinea pigs. Get to feed them and enjoy them in a full out guinea pig over load experience!
Adoptions are NOT conducted at this time. This is a fundraising function for the shelter and funds raised in this manner are used for the up keep and care of the guinea pigs housed here. Cavy Care Inc. is manned by unpaid volunteers.
This is a one on one time to address education, question and dispel myths.
Birthdays
Have a special party with the guinea pigs. Get to adopt one and take them home (based on approval of pre-adoption form if you are wishing to adopt at this time). The guinea pigs get to share in the party experience! Includes balloons, party favors and take home bags including commercially created treats. Limited to six children and three adults. Cost: $150.00. $20 for each additional Adult $10 for each additional child. Must be booked two weeks in advance. A deposit of 1/2 of total amount required at the time of booking. Customized T-shirts available for and additional $90.00 (six kids and three adults containing the names of each participant) or $10 each for each additional T-Shirts.
