Wish List: GARBAGE BAGS! oh yes we are always in need of these at least .08mil or thicker. Paper Towels, any brand will be greatly appreciated. TOWELS!, old towels are in great need at this time as our over the years have become threads of their former selves. Please no sheets, or articles of clothing. Cleaning Solution: Simple Green, Fabulouso, and Vinegar (white or apple cider). Bedding, the paper kind/any brand. We can always use the wood based beddings but we have several fellows who have allergies and must be kept on paper bedding. It is a bit pricey for our limited budget but some how we will keep them on nothing else. Phone Cards to pay for long distance calls to those folks with questions and needing help with their guinea pigs. Timothy . bags or bales, we consume a lot of it! Pelleted Food in unopened bags or containers. Treats for guinea pigs. Any kind, it would be nice for them to have some of these things too. Bird toys: Bells, mirrors, anything not made of hide/string/latex. Reams of Copy paper, business card paper, brochure paper. Clean cardboard boxes between 12" x 12" and not larger then 24" x 24". Part-time Public Relation person. This position would be just a few hours a month or more depending on your motivation. This position would be for a self starter who isn't afraid to get out there make some calls, shake some hands be resourceful. Part-time Event/Fundraiser Coordinator: We are looking for an ideals person, who has a knack for making magic happen while keeping the limited budget intact. This would be a position for a very resourceful person who is looking for kudos on their job resume. Cavy Transporter: We are looking for folks over 18, with a dependable vehicle including a/c and heat, a valid drivers license and valid car insurance. This person would help in the pick up of guinea pigs from area shelters. Area shelters will contact us to pick up guinea pigs that they can no longer house or are preparing to euthanize. You would be given 24 hours notice if a pick up is required but your must be dependable.
